The 9. International Istanbul Open Chess Tournament organization provides daily shuttle bus transportation between the Yunus Emre Youth and Sports Center Sports Hall (Categories A-B-C) and Sabri Ulker Anatolian High School Sports Hall (Category D) and the Dormitory Accommodation. The shuttle service schedule is published in the table below. Participants arriving at the tournament venue by car should use the parking areas in the surrounding area.

9th International Istanbul Open Chess Tournament Opens for Registration |
 The 9th International Istanbul Open Chess Tournament, organized in cooperation with our Federation, Sultangazi Municipality, and the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Youth and Sports, will be held from 24 to 30 August 2026.
Celebrating its ninth edition this year, the tournament will bring together titled chess players from Türkiye and around the world. A total cash prize of TRY 1,000,000 will be awarded. A, B, and C categories will take place at the Sultangazi Municipality Yunus Emre Youth and Sports Center Sports Hall, while the D category games will be held at the Sabri Ulker Anatolian Imam Hatip High School Sports Hall.
Registration for the tournament opened on 22 July 2026. Applications will be accepted, subject to capacity, until 5:00 p.m. (17:00) on Thursday, 20 August 2026.
